Hmmm...
I think most guys who play fretless without lines are pretty particular about what they play... and I have to say, the Bongo does not leap to mind (for me, at least) as what I'd want in that kind of bass. Put frets on it, it's rock & roll and we're all good... but the folks who play fretless - and seemingly those who have the training/experience to play without lines - don't play rock and roll... So I suspect that even if this bass had lines, you'd have a hard time moving it. Fretless players are peculiar (and yes, I am one too).
That said, I'll bet that is a fine bass. Why did you buy it to begin with?
Buy guitars like cars - consider resale and liquidity (how fast it sells).
