Why does "More Options" button do the same thing as "Post Reply"?

I'm on Chrome. I hit the more options button and it sent me to the full editor. The only difference i can see between the two is that the full editor let's me preview my post.
Edit: it also has some options regarding whether you want to follow the thread or not

Wait, are you saying that when you click "More Options..." it posts your reply to the thread?
"More Options..." should take you to another window with, well, more options.
When you click "Post Reply" your message should be loaded to the thread.
