Why does YouTube work sometimes and not others?

Sometimes YouTube videos embedded in posts work fine, other times they do not and say I need to log in.

But there’s no way to login from the window in the post, and if I login to YouTube in a different tab, or open the YouTube app installed on my phone, it still won’t open the videos and says I need to log in.

This was never a problem on the old site. Can you fix it or tell me how to make it work? Thanks.
