Whyyyyyy? Just whyyy?!

They're already experimenting with contracting genes from something so lesbian couples (or straight couples of which the guy can't produce the goods) can have kids with both their genes :o

And I hope they'll be done with it by the time I start thinking about kids :p

Didnt know they had already made so much progress. Best of luck with that though it sounds like a good solution!

I wonder, if two lesbians had one of these genetic mish-mash kids, and they raised it, do you think it would be more likely to turn out as a gay or a lesbian as opposed to a normal human child?

Normal human child? Seems to me he/she would be a normal human child...

As for those chances it depends wether you believe someone is born gay or becomes gay through life experience.

There's still a lot of research being done on the whole 'is homosexuality inheritable?' thing..

This one guy says he found a gen called Xq28 that if you have it, makes you genetically gay.
But those results have only been found by that guy, other researchers can't find it.

Then they're the theory about some testosterone thing that happens to a fetus.. They get 2 'shots of testosterone' which has something to do with the connection between the two brain halves. If a boy misses one he has a better connection between his brain halves and has a larger chance of being gay (or just feminine)...

There's all kinds of theory's and none of them are officially confirmed and such..

But being raised by lesbian/gay parents would most likely give the kid a more open perspective and wouldn't be ashamed to experiment a little and wouldn't be afraid of homosexuality..
