Will a 60 watt amp work for gigs or practice?

my rock band practice is always WAY louder than our performance volume. My 75 combo works fine for playing live (with DI), but quite cut it in practice.

I find that too. I think it's not so much we play too loud, it's more the response of the smaller room. The drums volume dissapates more in a larger venue, whereas they sound huge in the rehearsal room. So our amps are always turned up that little bit more in rehearsals.
