Will Area J 5-string pickups drop into an American Deluxe V?

I read that some folks had to modify their bass but they didn't specify what model they had..

I have a 2012 Am Deluxe

According to the diagram posted above, the answer is No.
The Fender Deluxe V pickup sizes are 4.10" wide bridge and 3.97" wide neck

I really don't know why Dimarzio doesn't make 5-string Jazz pickups in Fender sizes...kind of weird if you ask me...
