Will Boss ac adapter work with Multicomp EBS ?

I have adapter - Boss PSA-120
in= ac120v
out=dc 9.6v

I was wondering if this would work since I already have this adapter, and I can't find info about this with a multicomp (my pedal doesn't say)

Thanks guys.

NO. DON'T DO IT!!

The MultiComp manual reads:

"EBS Sweden AB guarantees no error free operation when using other DC adapter than the EBS AD-9. Warranty is void if higher voltage than 9.3V has been used to feed the EBS MultiComp pedal."

It will most likely work just long enough for the user to never really notice.

I have a fried MultiComp. I have no one to blame but myself, although it was a tad difficult for me to accept -- most pedals are (roughly) 10 times more forgiving.
