Will i hurt my Big Muff? (phantom power question)

Hi everyone, Im starting a home studio and im looking for a 4 mic input audio interface+ the ability using a line input for when I need it.
I saw the Tascam US-1200 and it looks pretty cool, but I have noticed that the Phantom power swithch activates Phantom power for all mic inputs , and for one of them I'm planning on using the DI on my Electro Harmonix Bass Big Muff Deluxe. Will the Phantom power damage it or make it behave differrently?

You'll be fine. Phantom power only works on Mic - XLR inputs and maybe TRS inputs. Not on normal guitar type cables TS 1/4".

Let me clear myself: my effect pedal has a balanced XLR output besides the normal TS 1/4" output jack. The xlr output will go to the audio interface while i connect to TS output to my amp.
I just sent EHX an email asking them what i asked here

Smart move to contact the manufacturer.
Only but the dumbest of manufacturers would have problems with phantom power. The spec has been around for decades. I can bet Muff makers know it well, but they would be best to answer for sure.
