Will I hurt my Big Muff?

Hi everyone, I'm starting a home studio and im looking for a 4 mic input audio interface+ the ability using a line input for when I need it.
I saw the Tascam US-1200 and it looks pretty cool, but I have noticed that the Phantom power swithch activates Phantom power for all mic inputs , and for one of them I'm planning on using the DI on my Electro Harmonix Bass Big Muff Deluxe. Will the Phantom power damage it or make it behave differrently?

RE: Tascam, I would email them regarding how much voltage the phantom power will supply.
A big muff typically is built for 9v, but many guitar pedals use 12v components for some flexibility. I would NOT connect the two unless I knew for sure what phantom power voltage you're getting, as many units with phantom power supply much more than 9volts.

He's talking about phantom power (48v) hitting the DI portion of the pedal. Most DI's can cope, but not all.

EHX answered me, they said that there won't be any problem and that the DI is protected against phantom power.
