Will This Power Supply Work For My EBS Valve Drive?

Somehow I deleted that mine is a first gen Valve Drive.

Here's the info from the power supply for my Valve Drive. I'm quite ignorant about this stuff so, again, any help is appreciated!!

That supply is a AC in DC out right? It will not work with the first gen. The first gen was AC 12v, the second gen is DC 9v. The first Gen is AC like a Mutron or correct sound beta.

PSU like the CIoks AC Rider would be what you want.

So "AC/DC" refers to "AC in/DC out". Gotcha. I thought it might mean that the supply could be either AC or DC out.

I'll look into that AC Rider.

Thanks, guys (and gals)!

After digging around my junk drawer, I came across a EH power supply that will work EXCEPT for the crazy tip! Never seen one like it.

Anybody make an adaptor to go from the weird EH tip to a "normal" tip?

Left my power supply at a venue and it was a pain in the a** finding a replacement for the 12v Valve Drive. Ended up trying a few 12v. cables I had laying around the house and ended up blowing a fuse. The local guitar shop that sold me the pedal directed me to a small "ma and pop" electronics store called Ra-Elco in S. Salt Lake, who by the way was extremely helpful in not only finding me a power supply that worked, but trouble shot/replaced the blown fuse... all for just $8. EBS got back to me with a recommendation on 3rd party replacement power cords as they are no longer producing them.
Here is the exact email from Ralf @ EBS:

"The EU standard version of this model has been used by European customers to satisfaction.
I believe the US version should do the same:
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Let me know if you're satisfied with it, so we can point others with the same question to a recommended solution too.

Unfortunately, we do not make the 12V AC adapters ourselves anymore, since you noticed all current EBS pedals run on 9V DC, including the newer ValveDrive DI."

Anyways, this thread proved to be very helpful in my search for a replacement power cord, so I thought I'd register and post my findings for the next person that goes looking for a replacement 12VAC power cord for their v. 1 Valve Drive.
