ANY bass will feed back under the right circumstances. Hollowbodies are more susceptible to this phenomenon than solid bodies, especially at high volumes. If you stand right in front of your speaker with everything cranked to 11, there's a good chance this bass will feed back. Feedback is (usually) pretty easy to deal with: just move/turn away from the amp. Will it feedback at loud volumes? It has a block of wood under the bridge, though I'm guessing it's more in line with structural integrity than it is for cutting feedback.
It reduces it but it doesn't make it go away. I can get my violin basses to feedback if I turn them up loud enough and they have no f-holes. One has a block of wood under it but one doesn't, and they'll both feed back if they're loud enough. I kind of like itNo "f-holes" - no feedback.. in my experience.
Would going direct to a PA system mitigate it by any chance?ANY bass will feed back under the right circumstances. The block of wood under the bridge is there for structural integrity. It does very little to combat feedback.
That being said, unless you're trying to fill a huge space with a single huge amp/cab, there's a pretty good chance feedback will not be a significant issue.

Assuming you are standing behind the PA speakers, yesWould going direct to a PA system mitigate it by any chance?
Yes, and no. It's more dependent on where your bass in relation to the speaker your bass is emanating from. Usually, when going DI, feedback is not an issue, but it can be.Would going direct to a PA system mitigate it by any chance?
