Will WTDI work to split dry signal

Will an eden wdti pedal work to split bass gtr? Example: XLR output from it goes to mixer as DI

and, at the same time

balanced 1/4 output from it goes to Amp? This would be with the pedal bypassed so neither of the split signals is effected.

I could buy an inexpensive passive DI with parallel/thru but I have a simple setup and that's yet another metal box

I also have a bass pod with two outputs labelled DI and Amp modeling. I never knew if these can both be used at the same time. I would record the DI to DAW (hopefully it's dry) while sending the effected signal also to an Amp. Is that how it's supposed to work or are these two outputs intended as one at a time?
I just would like a way to record bass gtr as two signals at the same time: a DI and a mic'd Amp on two tracks in my DAW.

It should..
XLR to FOH, 1/4” parallel out to amp.
Bypass will still have signal at the XLR + 1/4" outputs - but it will be the RAW bass signal without any of the processing the pedal provides!

Common setup for most pre-amp DI’s.
