When did Fender offer the Precision in Wine red with a rosewood fretboard? I am aware of it being in the late 1970's but exactly when?

Wine Red Precision Bass

I had a S9 serial number with the “wine red”, it was a sort of transparent-ish thing. I also remember it having some 1981 appointments (routing , to be exact).
So unless someone actually chimes in saying they bough one in the 70s, I’d call it early 80s.

It seems to be in that early ‘80s era. A lot of basses that we’re completed in ‘80-‘81 apparently used parts from the late ‘70s due to overstock....I’ve never seen a Wine Transparent on a bass said to be completed after ‘82....
