Wireing pickups

[Biostrings]

I have hit a bump in my project bass: the pickup (EMG Select) ive fitted has 3 wires, Red, White and Brown which i havnt clue what they are,

Could someone tell me what eachwire is for please

(The bass itself is a Fender Jazz if it helps with the orginal neck pickup still in place with a White and Black wires,)

Can anyone help me on this on?
