Double Bass Wireless double bass

There are mount-able preamps that can provide that level of control. I have one, a mounted 2-channel blending preamp, attached to my 2-pickup piezo system. And yes, it's nice to have that level of control especially at the volume levels where I'd use them. That said, my mounted mic signal is clear, direct to either my amp or an FOH, and when I send that signal to an FOH it's out of my hands -- and I kind of prefer it that way. The FOH sound team does their part and I do mine.

Back on topic, wireless works fine with either of those systems.

I have been using the NUX C-5RC from Gollihur for over a year at home, at rehearsals and at many gigs. I use it on my Shen SB100 for jazz, on my Czech ply for bluegrass and also with my Yamaha SLB 200 and all of these have piezo pickups. I go straight into an amp or PA with no issues. There is a USB cord for charging or you can charge it in the case that they come in, very handy. Works for me.
Thanks! So you go straight from the piezo to the transmitter, and you don’t get any loss of bass frequencies? That’s fantastic.

FYI, I have an SLB-100. I’m pretty sure your 200 has the battery powered on board preamp whose low Z output is what you’re plugging the transmitter into - not the high Z piezo.
