Double Bass Wireless rig for upright?

I recently bought a 5.8MHz setup for $50 because I would get interference with 2.4MHz phones and WiFi systems. Works great for me.

I just took a few minutes to double check this on both of my Tx/Rc sets, which are some of the less-expensive (2.4) versions. The slider on/off switches are solid and don't seem to have any space or capacity to rattle in either the on or off positions. I've also never heard any rattling from these devices on either my DB or my amp(s).

I might just have been lucky and I don't dispute that rattling may happen with some units. As advised, it's definitely worth checking.

An Update - I bought the Line 6 G10 system today at my local Guitar Center. $150. Charged it up and tried it out. Works great so far. Checked it with my Rev Solo II and the $35 piezo made by the person whose name I can't remember right now. Works with both. I have an outdoor gig on Sunday so I'll give it a go then, as well. Thanks to Steve Boisen and others who related their experience.

I have been using a Boss WL 20 for the last couple of years at home, for rehearsals and gigs and have had no problems. I use piezo pickups on my DB and also use it with my Yamaha SLB 200 EUB. Small, easy to charge and it holds a charge long enough for gigs. Love it.

Gollihur Music also sells [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. I don't have any experience with it, but I trust Gollihur Music as they are selective about what they carry.

I've been running that system and really like it. I use two of them, one on each channel of the Shadow Rockabilly Pro preamp. It's been great.
When I first set it up, there was a slight high frequency noise perceptible when standing close to the cabinets. It wasn't noticeable 8 ft away. Nor was it noticeable when I cranked the volume. I was able to make it go away entirely when I boosted the Low Cut on the treble channel of the preamp. I don't know what kind of frequency science was at work with that though. lol
