Wiring a DiMarzio four wire plus bare wire pickup

I have an old long scale Gibson bass that had a broken head stock and I glued it but was afraid to string it up for years. I also cut it up and turned it into a V bass and bought two DiMarzio pick up for the look of the original V guitar. This was in the early 80' and I have lost the instruction on how to wire them. So here is the set up. Two volume pot and one tone plus a three-way toggle switch. I have the wiring for everything except the pickups. They have four wires plus a bare wire. Red, Green, Black, White and the bare wire.
From what I have found online the black and white are soldered together. Red is Hot and the Green and bare go to ground. Sound about right?

That first diagram is using a Fender style switch. Hopefully you can get it if you’re using a toggle switch. If not, I can find another diagram.

A couple of years ago I built a body for a short scale V bass with Black Limba. I shelved the project because I did not make the neck for it at the time. I kept the wood for the neck to match. That project is back on now. I also have wood from my grandmothers 170+ table that I want to make Les Paul JR guitar from.
