Wiring help

I have an SG RI I'm replacing the neck pup with a Model One. It currently has 2 vol and a master tone. I want to replace the neck vol with a gibson toggle sw and make the bridge pup a master vol and leave the mast tone as is. I have the mechanical ablilites to replace and solder but I don't have the skills to figure out the wiring. I found a diagram for Seymour Ducan details what I want to do but before I start tearing my bass apart I'd like to hear from some people that have a clue.

In a nut shell, is this the way I want to do it?

Its all possible.

That diagram should work fine for what you want. For your Dimarzio red is used as black in the diagram and black+white are twisted together.
