I have been asked to fix an electric guitar with 2 humbuckers, 3 way pickup selector, 1 volume and 1 tone with a pull push pot for coil splitting (I assume)
The issue is that the bridge pickup is dead but it isn't broken, I can measure the resistance of both pickups.
I have looked up wiring diagrams for identical setups but they look very different to what I have in front of me.
Here is what I have:
I left out most of the ground wires to keep it simpler but I checked continuity and all is well.
Can anybody tell me whether this wiring should work as it is and if it is OK, would it be correct to assume that the tone pot is broken?
