wiring problem

hi there,

i have a strange problem. i installed seymour duncan ssb4 pickups to my epiphone thunderbird. if i pull up the volume of the pickups seperatly everything is fine but if i pull up the volume of both pickups the sound looses something somehow. i am sorry about this description :)

for example if i have the neck pickup volume to 0 and i pull up the volume of the bridge pickup, the volume rises to the maximum. when i than start to pull up the volume of the neck pickup only at the very end to the maximum position the sound of both pickups start to mix.

i hope someone can understand what i mean and help me out.

another thing i mentioned is that in comparison to the original installed pickups i find the duncans rather brilliant but not so punchy and very very cold. a had a nice time the last days changing from the epiphone pu´s to the duncans and back and again and again making me kind of mad. maybe there is someone out there who also replaced the epiphone stock pickups with the duncan ssb4 and would tell me how he did it.

thank you for your help!
