I like Wish and really dig this, tho the steel seems overkill, Wish necks are rock stable.
at first glance I assumed this was a refined Wishbass but maybe not, anybody know lee?
    - I'm not buying at the moment ...unless I can finagle something!

wowzer, for me, I have to pass on that bass... and then pass gas on the way out.
There IS a point where looks matter, despite if it has good electronics (don't care the body parts reaching far up the neck either) and that has reached the point for me.

I think a custom control plate, or at least a curved one, would have been better.

the plate could be worse = easy mod, maybe a better bridge ...minor at this $ point

Anyone else see the way those saddles are set? I wonder if that's the way they need to be for it to be intonated properly?

I Wish there was anything nice to say about it. The builder talks about his pride in woodworking, but it doesn't appear to be anything beyond high school shop. Steel reinforcement and no truss rod in the neck means you're screwed for future adjustments. And he just threw some cheap guitar pickups in it, not even bass pickups. The control plate just looks stupid. I'd take a Wishnevsky over that any day.

Looks like poor quality to me. If you check his feedback, it is mostly for cigar box guitars. I think that explains it.

The action seems awful high and the neck profile looks uncomfortably thick and/or squarish from that angle.

The curtains he's using for a backdrop... are those suede, or crushed velvet? If he's got Elvis on canvas, I'm in...

The stringers are very well respected by the other woods.
    Love those guitar humbuckers....

No truss rod, bizarre square neck profile, guitar humbuckers, odd control plate, dinky bridge...

Too many red flags for sure. I do sorta like the look but I'd stay away.

Wish has got his very own cheap ripoff counterfeiter! That's funny!

You can only hope... just a runner, mind you... scrap the '70s shag, as I just ran out of line for the weed wacker...

... although, as with most things, I'm sure it'll make a comeback...

am i the only one who thinks wishbass products look like something that could come out of a high school wood shop class?

it's easy to knock, and Wish certainly has takin' a lickin' ...yet keeps on tickin'.
in their basic state these might be even better, maybe custom orders, so who really knows?

I wonder how flattered Wish is right now?

  19. That neck looks insane. It's so fat and square. I hope the fretjob isn't as bad as that neck carving.

Dear lord. A lower quality version of a Wishbass is literally a crime against humanity.
