Seen at the local Music Go Round (Troy MI). They're asking $189.95, down from $249.95 the last time I was in. I resisted.

There was a Wishbass on CL near Detroit (Rochester) for $150 about 3 weeks ago. Not sure if it's still available, but I resisted and passed on it.

Granted, that's a particularly odd-looking model. But I do "get" the Wishbass thing. I mean, people pay tons of money for cigar box guitars and basses. Wishbasses in some ways like that: a basic, homemade vibe. Priced to move. Just sayin'.

That, to me, is the best looking Wish Bass I've ever seen. If it was local and I didn't already have a fretless I would have to try it out.

REALLY easily.

I'd have a stable if I didn't have to risk and eat shipping.
it's likely best to get a custom rough cut for cheap and finish it elsewhere to specs.
