Double Bass Wolftone Equipment Question

Do I need a Invalid Link Removed if i have a [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]?

P.S. I'm asking because I'm having some trouble eliminating WolfTones on the A string

Getting rid of wolftones is a trial and error process. I've seen basses that need the eliminator to kill an open A wolf, and they had adjustable tailpieces.

I don't know anything about eliminators. Never tried one.

The day before yesterday I replaced the soundpost quite a bit up to 'the north' which results in a much brighter and more transparent sound. Also the wolf tones (for me in the range E-F# on the D string) are a lot less. Yesterday during the rehearsal the sound was even better than the day before. I guess the wood needs some time to settle.
