Woolly Mammoth...

I always put pedals in one of two sections;
1- Effects that add to the tone (wah, filter, EQ etc)
2- Effects that change the tone (distortion, fuzz, synth etc)
and i was wondering what effects would go into section 1 to help out my Woolly Mammoth?

I run the woolly mammoth into the MXR DI and want some pedals that could really add something more to my tone when i don't quiet want a fully blown out fuzz. I allready have a chorus and filter and it's not entirely what im looknig for. I was wondering what else there is out there that would help me out. I've heard that a pitch shifter might be what im looking for but no local shops stock pedals im intrested in, if any at all. I play stuff from Muse to 'Tallica with obviously a passive 5er.

Thanks,
:D

Just looking at some of the pedals you've already got, I would recomend trying the fuzz into the Bassballs. Or into the front end of your wah. And you could get some great sounds putting a Digitech Whammy into the Zvex with or without additional filtering downstream.
