I started my job today at a new tire store... and did nothing.

it opens monday, and we are still installing stuff, most of which comes tommorow.

so i cleaned paint of cement for a couple hours, stood there a couple more, took a lunch break, stood a few more hours, took out some trash, spray painted a thing or two....then stood some more.

there was seriously nothing to do. it was me and two managers standing there watching the ceiling installers all day.

Are you going to be a tire changer? If so, you'll be wishing for days like that! I used to change tires, long ago. It's a back-breaker.
I humbly offer two pieces of advice:
1. Be careful of your fingers.
2. Stay in school, graduate, and get your butt out of the tire business.
Good luck!
