Work sucks without TB

Dear colleagues. It's a sad day for me. Today the office I work at has upgraded their internet security and with that I'm no longer able to access TB. It was really nice to read this forum in between cases. Now when I'm without tasks it gets boring as hell. Facebook and youtube was already blocked, but this new configuration blocks everything including forums. Of course I'm not being paid to read TB, but having access made my boring job a lot more enjoyable. Now i can access through my phone but it's a pita.
I'm making moves to change my job. I don't like this one much but access to TB made it much more bareable.

Just venting my frustration. Best wishes.

I "had" a job where I lobbied the company to open up music streaming, Hulu, Netflix, etc.

Our productivity actually went up.

I lobbied for 4 day/s telework a week, got it and then our productivity went up again!

Then the contract went direct award to a small business.

I have an LG f60 with android. I can use it, it definetly not imposible. But it's uncomfortable compared to the dedicated explorer tab which I checked periodically for interesting subjects in between cases. It's also a great learning database for my lutherie studies. I'm lobbying to get access once again, but i find that difficult. I'm a medical care coordinator and the job is demanding concentration-wise. Even when i take it very serious some of my coworkers didn't and that actitude upsetted our managers, and now we all fall for a few dumb ones playing with facebook and proxies. I had acces for 3 whole years.

That is unacceptable, quit your job as this is not how employees should be treated these days, one day you'll be very mad at me and that will be because one day you couldn't access TB from work and I had told you to quit your job....

I'm not going to quit until i have another job confirmed. I know it sounds silly but without you guys it's not the same. :(
Hope to become a full time luthier some day not too far. But until then i'd like some more TB to drool over my desk while working for these people.
