worth $100? (Squier Pro Tone?) good looking..

I'm not sure if this is a "Pro Tone" or not.. I could only find one matching image on the web for this exact bass..

The seller is asking $100 with a case, or $75 without.. I think the bass is really good looking, other than the fact that this one needs a little work, and some new tuners at the very least..

Is it worth $100?

According to the one website where I found a matching image of this kind of bass, this is what they say:

Squier/Fender Pro Tone Precision Bass

This is a discontinued Pro Tone series Pre Bass. The quality is very good, it`s in very good condition too. Black alder body maple neck with rosewood fret board, tortoise pickguard, very good sounding pickups. Mtached black headstock. This bass plays really smooth and sounds all there way a Precision bass should. It comes in a gigbag. These Pro Tone series are hard to find there they were discontinued by Fender due they cut down USA sales. Only made for 2 years and a nice collectors piece for sure . Price: €600.

Other info I've found on the web seems to agree that these basses are discontinued and hard to find, and that they are really good quality..

Can anyone here offer an opinion on this bass and if it's worth driving an hour away to pick up for $100?

Thanks

Yes it is worth it and then some. The broken tuner now gives you a legit reason to buy high-quality tuners.
Is there something on the E-string at the nut? Maybe cracked, It's still worth it, now you can put a better nut in as well.
