Would I be crazy for buying this...?

Pretty damn heavy for a single effect. Were talking the size of a small head here. But you do get to do kick ass stuff like this:

Me? If I had the cash, I would totally do it. I've pretty much fallen in love with the tape echo sound, and would love to have one.

I know, Joe, tape echo just sounds SOOO cool/good. Im probably going to shop a bit for one though before I dump that much cash into one.

I have owned one before. They are really cool effects. They suck a bit of your sound but are worth it. Make sure you buy an extra tape or two and find someone who can fix it. They tend to need maintenance more often than people are used to nowadays.

There's an old maestro tape echo that is tucked away in a storage space at my college. I'm gonna bug one of the staff members about it one of these days.
that would be awesome
