and outcomes the hard rock band onto the stage, they all waive to the crowd, and then go into an onstage, isolation booth that replicates the bands normal rehearsal room with all the soundproof trimmings, maybe their favorite couch, lamp, fridge , no windows... and they have the band micd up and CCTV that is played to the audience as a movie with good mixed audio and the band gets to be private, and comfortable as home, you don't get to see them, but you saw them go inside their onstage booth, and think they "probably "are in there doing what the screen and sound says"

Your profile says you're in California. Are you from there? Is English your first language? Sometimes your posts are disjointed and hard to understand and I'm wondering if it's a language issue.

That's way too far into concept art for me to pay to see it live.
If somebody at the same art school as the band did a write up in the online college paper, I might read the first few sentences and look at the pictures briefly. Not knowing anything else about that band, I already hate every band member for specific personal and completely imagined reasons. I burned their album in my mind just now.

That sounds like a lot of effort to make some sort of statement. Yeah, sophomore level performance art. Now, I have witnessed the inverse of that, at an art institute(in the midwest)no less. In an effort to blur the 'performer/audience' schism, the musicians were placed in spots around the hall, allowing the audience to wonder in and around them. As the music was of an experimental/Sun Ra nature, coordination between the players was a minor consideration. Still very cool and provocative. Otherwise, any other time it's called 'Saturday at Guitar Center or NAMM'. Wasn't there an experiment where there was no PA, but everyone in the audience had Bluetooth headphones? Adds new meaning to the term "phoning it in". Don't forget Kraftwerk and their robots.

It's another example of just because you can doesn't mean you should bother.
No, I definitely would not pay to see that. A crowd needs to feed off the energy of the entertainer and vice versa, and putting a wall between the two isn't gonna help that.
I get it....weed is legal in California.
I love the idea of setting up the ENTIRE venue as a "typical band rehearsal space" that may include lots couches for the audience, refrigerators full of drinks, some PA gear and maybe interesting lighting.
However, to pay money to watch a band walk onstage and into a closed-off standalone rehearsal room, then watch streamed video and audio of what goes on in that booth...nope, hard pass. Not something that I could imagine anyone paying money for.
