I think this goes to a news story over the holidays. The bull is a mascot for some team somewhere. (Aren't I a wealth of information?) Some bulldog in a red sweater got around it during some show and the bull got pissed off. Or maybe the bulldog was the mascot and the bull was advertising for Outback Steakhouse. Anyway..... something like that.

That was before a football game. That guy is the team mascot for the University of Texas Longhorns. No one will be killing him anytime soon, and definitely not for sport when that time comes.

OK, then my statement still stands as completely unrelated to that pic. Sure looked like a bullfight... Now that I understand the actual question, my answer is still no, I wouldn't take a little yap dog, or any other pet, to such a thing. Seems like it would be terrifying to the little bugger even without an angry longhorn thrashing about.

It's so obviously cruel. There's no sport in it. You stab the thing a bunch of times and then piss it off till it runs at you as it's bleeding and terrified? Why? Do they even eat it after it's dead?

Both animals were mascots - the bulldog (which isn't fat) for Georgia, and the longhorn for Texas. The two teams were playing each other on New Years, and they were trying to get them to pose for a photo together.
