Wow! 200 watt Ampeg V4B!!!!!

The one next to the garage was We Buy Guitars. On the other side of the street (Manny's side), was Stuyvesant Music, where for years they had Randy Hobbs' old Gibson Explorer bass in the window. IIRC, you couldn't even get in the store - they had some kind of wacky entrance/counter just inside the doorway. Rudy's, Manny's, Charlie LoBue's place (Guitar Lab???), Alex (Axe) Music, 48th Street Music - even the Electro Harmonix store - were all there as well.:bawl:

In 1987 I bought my 1978 Fender pbass at We Buy Guitars for 500 bucks. It's still my main squeeze. That street sucks now. Sam Ash ruined that whole street. I never go there any more....What a shame its was such a great place hang out and meet people
