Wow

Yeah, I've seen these. They're small clips that are used between segments on a show in Japan. They're still cool. I'm not sure if the guy who makes them is English or Japanese. There's a marmite jar in one of them. That would hint at English origin, but Marmite is not that uncommon in Japan. My wife uses it in curry.

There's a lot on that video where parts don't act according to the laws of physics. I'm almost certain it's partly or completely computer animated and/or manipulated with hidden devices. Impossible to judge, though, because of the crap quality of the video off youtube.

Still, it looks cool.

I actually saw an article about that add around the time it was released- and according to the article it's all real. When they made it, they had 2 prototype models built, and they took one apart entirely for the commercial, and it took over 600 takes to get it right.
