BUT, what are your internal dip switch settings?

opinions on if the pad cut dip#4, will shave off precious lows..

I have one that I'm using as a tail-end boost and I think it works great. I keep the pad turned off and I run my board fairly warm...so far I haven't noticed any clipping or overloading. I'm pretty sure that I decided on the second most aggressive attack/release option before I buttoned it back up and slapped it on my board. Anyway, I keep it set to Low and the compression mix low...it's mostly a boost but the compression helps stiffen things a bit. I've had it for a couple of weeks now...totally happy, it's a keeper.

I use the dip switches in default apart from #1 (attack/release). One of my favourite pedals - used more as 'sustainer'. Controls dynamics without effecting the basic tone.

I was here before but I've moved mine from tail end of board to tail end of synthy chain where I use it to boost or tame what comes out of there. Mostly I still use it for a bit of stiff boost. It's handy like that because it can boost and control at the same time. And it's small <3. Mine is in a dirty insert loop so that it stays out of my clean/recording chain along top. I wouldn't personally use it for dynamics (input) or finalizing but as an inline signal tool it's pretty bomb. My Opti-FET glares at it and struts around sometimes to keep it in its place.

I have also been using mine after my filter to kind of even out any really sharp peaks and find it pretty useful in that spot
