Double Bass Xvive U2 vs Xvive A58 wireless?

My Xvive U2 transmitter stopped working, so I'm debating whether to replace just the transmitter (2.4 Ghz) or upgrade to a full Xvive A58 set (5.8 Ghz). Can anyone advise on whether the A58 is better in terms of drop out, interference, battery life, sound? Thanks in advance. Also, should I have posted this to the BG forum even though it's for my DB with Realist Clip?

The A58 is on sale right now. Ironically, I was looking into the same thing earlier today. I'm in favor of changing to 5.8GHz, but it's your decision.
