The bass itself is great.....not too heavy like a lot of vintage Yammys, with a gorgeous, highly figured neck. Needed a set up badly, but got her adjusted up and she plays great!

Yamaha BB1100S preamp help

Man....screwed that up! The redundant posting text in preview mode confused me....my apologies for that. Was looking for help with 1100S preamp. In a nutshell, active mode has less output than passive mode, which seems weird to me. Looking for other BB1100 owners to confirm or deny that. Already put new battery in. Thanks!
