2005 made in Taiwan. In really great shape and well taken care of over the last 20 years. I can find very few flaws on the finish beyond some swirling. It’s one of the nicer solid black finishes I’ve seen. The neck is straight and super solid as any Yamaha I’ve ever played. The frets show some signs of wear, but it sets up nicely with low action and no fret buzz. Everything is original except for the strings AFAIK. The original Yamaha pickups sound AWESOME. I’ve considered buying a new preamp, but found the stock one to be perfectly fine. With an upgraded preamp, this would seriously be a main player for years to come.
