For what it's worth, I just picked up one of these for a blow out price of $499 from musiciansfriend. Only issue out of the box was Slap setting doesn't like really active electric basses. It gives off a bad line noise with my fender deluxe. Otherwise this is a friggin loud amp, I plan on using it with my Bulgarian/bassmax/trinity/raven pmbII in Beauty and the beast this June in a local Theatre production. Reading the threads about the amp suggest it can be hit or miss with QC from China. Mostly positive overall. Someone said the head phone jack gave them a headache, no problem with mine. Dimensions are 17" x 11-7/8" x 18-7/8" and weight of 43lbs 3oz. It has an adjustable tweeter in back, seperate volume for headphones on back independent of the post gain so you can hear both speaker and phones if you want. 2 speaker jacks so you can disconnect the internal 10" and just use the head. 2 ohms minimum (yeahoo!!) because it's totally digital. My goal was compactness with volume and I got it. Only time will tell about reliability, and why everbody is unloading these units. Soundwise I'm satisfied, hell it beats my old Roland cube 100 I dragged around for five years w/ a touring ballroom dance band. For just having fun I still use my SWR rig because I like the modern sound w/ my Active basses. Oh yeah (why doesn't Jan Hammer re-release that?) it uses a paltry 130 watts. Thats all folks, Chucky.
