Yamaha EMX 640 powered mixer

For the first time in ten years we had a problem with our Yamaha EMX 640 this past weekend.

It simply wouldn't turn on. We couldn't find a fuse anywhere; does anyone know if there's a user-serviceable fuse in these things?

Any other ideas about what might have gone wrong? Worked fine a couple of weeks ago and without any known issues it simply wouldn't turn on....

this section is mainly for BASS amps, cabs etc. You may have better luck in a more general section here or even try the Yamaha website. We use a Yamaha 512SC powered mixer and I've found some pretty good ideas on that site. Check it out. Also, be sure the power cable plug fits snugly into the mixer, I had to change out our power cable for a better fitting one.

Oh, and I love Austin I was born there and I will move back in a few years so that I may finish my life there as did my grandparents and other family members have and will. I was just there for Christmas to see all my family, hope it stops growing so much. Peace, ernie.
