Yamaha RBX270J vs ESP LTD B154

I'm a total bass noob, so which is better? My current perception is that the ESP LTD B154 is better since it has more knobs than the Yamaha RBX, therefore making it more versatile.

I can probably get one or the other for around the same price i think.

I have had both of basses....so if they both are made in Indonesia-equal.If LTD made in China you must take YAMAHA....BUT!!!!!
Differense:
RBX270j- alder body,passive pics,JB,tone,balance,volume
B-154 - basswood,passive pics,HH,balance,volume,but it have ACTIVE EQ-it's better sure!
