I just got a used SLB 200 with D'Addario Pizzicatos on it.The bridge is adjusted as low as it can go and the strings still seem high,especially at the nut.I'm used to BG and a Stagg and the action on this is higher than the Stagg and it is much more work to play-yeah,I know "real" uprights are tough to play but this Yammie is not like an identical one I have played.What string heights are reasonable on this at the nut and bridge?Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If nut is too high, get that addressed first as nothing else will feel right with that problem left as is.

I would highly recommend taking the bass to a reputable double bass luthier to have a good setup done. Also, I think this post probably belongs in the "Setup & Repair" sub-forum.
Thanks for the help-anyone have any other ideas?I posted it in this one since the SLB200 is an EUB and the "Setup & Repair" indicates it is for DB.I'm new here so be patient.
