Yamaha vs. Warwick Rockbass

I recently purchased a new Jackson JS3V as my first 5-string and, while I love the feel of it, the sound isn't quite up to par. It's got a great midrange growl but weak highs and lows. Anyway, I've turned my attention to two basses which have both received mostly rave reviews: the new Yamaha TRBX305 and a Warwick Rockbass Fortress.

Which one would you pick? Both appear to be well-built and they sound great from what I've heard in videos. One major difference between them would be that the Warwick has authentic German electronics and MEC "Gold" pickups, which I think might explain the price difference. Any opinions on this?

Had trbx 304 for a while... Sweet bass with that tones selector (effective IMO)
Highs and lows not weak. Should be similar with the 305, minus the b string.

No experience with the rockbass but have checked out reviews and found rather positive comments most time.

As usual, try both basses and get which one speaks to you!
