Red or Yellowish pickguard, or go all out and have a Chrome pickguard. I lean yeah.

I always like unique looking paint jobs on, well anything. The only thing I dislike is that that pickguard just looks like a big black blob splatted on it. Lose the pickguard and have that finish carry over the entire body, and then we're talking.

I don't care if it is ugly. The Nash jazz bass I have has the best tone of all of my basses. And, I got over 40 of em, including Alembic basses.
