Hi

I saw this bass in Ebay a while back. It was sold pretty cheap, I just forgot about it until it was too late. Anyway I have never seen anything like it before or after. what is it? Have anyone seen one? I'm pretty sure it's from the Matsumoku factory. I have seen the same head on others like Dia and Venture. The pickups looks like the same model I have seen on guitars from Matsumoku and the pickguard pattern looks very Teisco. But what is it? Not that I want one... I NEEEED one

Looks like a sixties made bass, probably an Aria Diamond or a Kappa.

Cool design. Sort of a mix of art deco and an axe from a Frank Frazetta painting. Wicked cool looking bass.
