yet another micro head shootout

Richard is now a TC Electronic endorser. Not sure if he left TecAmp to do that.

And +1 to your tone comments. I was wondering if maybe he liked the TC Electronic sound more for that solo Fodera thing he does.

This all just makes me more curious about the head. I've heard people say that the RS212/210 cabs can be VERY bright if you plug in a LMII for example. Generally speaking, I've liked the warmth of coax speakers, and I'm definitely a fan of vertical alignment. That RS212 looks nice, as does the RH450. Having a tuner and a nice compressor in the head is appealing to me, as is the tube simulator for the few occasions I need one. It just seems that most of the people who seem to fit in the general tonal category I'm in aren't the ones using this gear.

He only endorses their pedals! He is with Tecamp but it always seems that he use his Walter Woods.

Just recently got a TecAmp Puma 1000 bass head. Just the tone I was after. Tight, punchy contolled low end, punchy mids and nice, not over bearing highs. Nicely voiced little amp. Just love it, perfect for finger style players. Makes me smile every time. Thanks to KJung for posting his TecAmp videos....nice.
