I'd say it comes down to the TT800/PF50. You get most of the D800 in the TT plus more. For me between those two I'd probably want the PF50 for home and maybe recording use and the TT for gigs, but it seems you don't actually need a low power amp for that, so I'd probably look to shift that one.

On the other hand, if cash is king and you can't see yourself requiring any more power than the PF50, then the MB's will bring in more cash a lot faster - you'll always be able to grab another eventually should it be required.

Haven't tried any of those Mesas, but voted for D-800+. Why? Because that's the only one without tubes and I don't want them into my signal chain. I have tested some tube amps (SVT-CL, PF-50T) and they never gave me anything more, and they are less reliable than fully semiconductor based amps. I have tested D-800 and that was good, so plus model should have even more flexibility.

I have not heard any of these amps. I briefly owned a D800 but decided to stay with my Aguilar AG700.

I'd be interested to hear the rest of the Subway range, but the Ampeg definitely wouldn't be on my list.

TT-800! I stopped looking and buying amps after I purchased this amp. It gives me everything I want in a powerful amp!

IMHO there is not even a question.
The Ampeg can't do full volume gigs.
The TT800 can basically do everything the D800+ does, plus more.

If you want to keep one, keep the TT.

I need to pare down my gear. Pretty simple. I have a Mesa D800+, TT800, and an Ampeg PF 50t. Each has served a purpose but it’s time to pull a “there can be only one,” Highlander deal. Off with two heads, so to speak.

Rehearsal is fully in ears, but I keep an amp there (TT800) for the odd full volume jams. Practice at home is often through my Zoom B3 and headphones. We’re getting ready to play out, and I’m pretty sure I’d be okay with any of them through one or both of my Mesa Powerhouse 210s.

Anyway, I’m wanting to keep only one. Which would you keep?

love the ampeg but nixed it because the only way to carry it is like a birthday cake and that’s inconvenient

because i have one and im not familiar with the others… but it does kick butt for both the DI and the capable output, I suppose the tt800 would be like that but more options?

I frequent a local establishment that was (before Gibson decided to purchase Mesa) a longtime Mesa dealer. While I love my Ampeg B/15N if I were in your position
I'd keep the Mesas and ditch the PF50T. Now this may be blasphemy coming from a guy who has a Walter Woods Electroacoustic Ultra and a Monique M700 sitting
in the basement because he went with three different MAS powered cabinets, but my spidey sense tells me that the Mesa's will out perform and out last
the PF50T which is a exquisite boutique version of the B/18N. Just my take of course.

Just remember Gibson were the folk that brought us a self tuning guitar. Something to
think about.

When people post these things (usually some form of "you only get to have n basses, what are they"). I balk, as the whole premise is silly for some of us. But in this case, it's easy - all my gigs are ampless, and I practice in headphones at home, so limiting myself to 1 amp is easy. As to which one I don't care - I won't use it anyway, so.....(flips a 3 sided coin), It's the first one.

In reality, I'd spend the money on a preamp.

Off with all 3 heads. Go IEM. Buy a floor preamp / amp / speaker sim system. Get the rest of the band to do the same. Silent stage. FOH will be cleaner, the band will hear itself better and you'll have less gear to schlep around. If you're worried about wimpy house PA systems, get a small but sufficient band PA to fill that gap. Put everything except drums through that PA and mix to the volume level of the drums. Boom - clean sound, crowd-friendly volume levels. Make money.

I'd keep the D800+, as I think it is actually the more versatile amp, and the Subway channel on the TT800 doesn't quite get you where the D800+ can. The boogie channel on the TT is wonderful, but to me the D800+ is the true meat and potatoes champ.

I voted D-800+ but only because of the 3 it’s the one I have experience with. When I bought the D-800+ I consciously decided against a two-channel amp. It turns out I don’t need one, and I rarely channel switch when I use the one I have.

Unless milking the absolute last drop of revenue from the 2 decapitations is the prime directive (in which case the Mesas fill likely fetch the most coin and cost less to ship), the TT would be a very easy, obvious choice for me.

I use a pf50t for indoor and outdoor gigs with or without PA support...so I'd keep that one.

I'd probably keep the TT-800. You have two channels for a bit of variation - kind of like having two amps in one.
