You gotta check out Grant Clarkson!

I subscribe to MOG and discover tons of new music, of artists I've not heard of before. One of my recent favorites is the bassist, Grant Clarkson.

He's got a few recordings out and I'm totally enjoying one called "Metamorphosis Acts 1 and 3" and "Famous Cats in Literature". Modern Jazz stuff with tone on the fretless (stock Fender Jazz with raw rosewood on Metamorphosis and a Jazz with epoxied fretboard and Bartolini pups on Cats) to die for.
