Your Desert Island Rig

You will shortly be transported to a desert island where you will be joined by 3 other musicians , none of which is a bass player. You do not know any details about them. You will be required to perform a one hour gig every night.

You are allowed exactly one bass, one amp and one accessory.

Which items (bass, amp, accessory) are you taking and why?

Assume there will be a "reasonable" sound system.

I think the accessory would be a fully equipped Herreshoff sailing boat with a copy of Bowditch's Navigation lying on the bunk.

BASS: A Peavey Cirrus 6 String - Reasonably good sounding instrument, maximum musical range. If there is no guitarist, I can play guitar lines.

AMP: A Markbass Combo with at least 400W power. No tubes as they may get broken in transport. I like MB, just plug in and play.

Accessory: A snark tuner

You are on a desert Island, no electricity, have to go acoustic, plus...
Bucket can be used to store, carry, cook, stand on, trap food, get water (if you plug the hole), seat...
Stick can also be used as a weapon, to reach high up food, hold up shelter...
Rope to hold stuff together, set traps for food...

Many other ways of using the bass, then assemble it back together and jam.

Except for the bucket the other parts can be replaced by items on said Island so it is very serviceable. There are no Hipshot dealers around.

bass: any of my PJs, probably a passive one.
amp: my rack system (two channel amp/compressor/EQ) with #2 112 cabs.
accessory: tuner

Markbass 102 CMD, easy peasy. Like Groot says, plug n play.

My only accessories would be my repair kit.
