Double Bass Your favourite 'DB & ..." duo combinations

Hi all

Me and a friend are starting up a jazz duo with double bass and nylon string guitar. Its a combo I've always had a wish to try out. What are your favourite duet combinations featuring DB?

i do a lot of DB & Tenor Sax. I've also done Trombone, Trumpet, Piano, Guitar and Voice combos. If you have double stops / chords together, Voice and DB is really fun.

bass and nylon string is great. I've done several duos gigs like this and really enjoyed! As a listener, bass and tenor sax is it thanks to Mr. Warne Marsh and Mr. Red Mitchell.

For years I've played with guitarist Nate Najar in a nylon string guitar/double bass duo and it's a great combination. Although it's not jazz, I play in an Link Removed with my daughter who sings and plays ukulele and that combination works well and is very unique and balance sound.
