Your mic set ups.

well, I DI my guitar and bass amps. I use a Beyerdynamic TG-X58 for vocals, percussion and acoustic instruments. For my keyboard, i either DI it or use midi and I've never recorded drums before in my life.

nothing too fancy but it all gets the job done!

I have a pretty good mic selection and change stuff around all the time. Recording would be really boring if it was the same all the time. A few things that are usuall first choices (all by shure by coincidence) SM57 for snares and electric guitars. KSM32 for drum overheads.. Beta 52 for kick and bass amps.

The only things that ever get DI'ed are basses and some keys. I use Little Labs and A Designs stuff for that.

Large condensor: Groove Tube 5sm, Rode NT1
