Your P Bass Tone Knob

Usually all the way rolled off to maybe 25%....with the horn off. I like thump more than sizzle.

If I'm playing with distorted guitars or guitars with crazy effects, sometimes I'll roll up some from that.

Just curious how you guys have yours set? I keep mine almost the entire way rolled off...just have it up like 1/8 of a turn, if that. That gives me the thump and a full sound, it I turn it up too much it sounds kind of hollow to me...

you might want to get your capacitor or tone pots checked. My 62 Reissue had this problem after I got Fralin PU's installed. Sounded great with tone off, but had almost no bass when I cranked the tone.
